(KRON) — Three grownups were arrested after police officers fixed a “major” retail theft situation, the Hayward Police Department (HPD) introduced on Tuesday. The overall quantity recuperated from this theft spree was nearly $11,000 well worth of merchandise.
Most of the stolen merchandise was extracted from supermarket and drug stores in Hayward, Oakland, Daly City, Sacramento and Santa Clara, according to cops. The things were gone back to the numerous merchants that were preyed on.
Police did not define which shops were target to the retail theft. Video (over) reveals a few of the merchandise that was stolen and went back to the shop it originated from. Among the things stolen were make-up, non-prescription medication and numerous health items.

“Despite the challenges we face, protecting the community and businesses from retail theft remains a priority in Hayward,” HPD composed in a Facebook article.
HPD provided ideas on what to do if you witness retail theft.
The division encourages every person to prevent straight fight. “Instead, alert store staff, provide detailed descriptions of involved people and vehicles (including license plates), and cooperate with staff, officers, and dispatchers during the investigation,” HPD claimed.
