A suspect that rammed a California Highway Patrol cruiser and triggered a quick chase Wednesday in Northern California ended up being a 9-year-old youngster that informed police officers he was attempting to reach institution, according to a CHP social networks blog post.

At regarding 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, in what the CHP called “a scene straight out of a movie,” police officers in Oroville, California, replied to the crossway of Grand Avenue and Fourth Street and experienced a grey Volkswagen car quit in the center of the crossway, the CHP claimed.

After a police officer advised the chauffeur to relocate, the lorry sped up off and led a quick chase that finished in a dust car park near Plumas Avenue Elementary School, the CHP claimed.

The chauffeur after that suddenly turned around the lorry and rammed the police officer’s patrol car in what the CHP called “a moment that could have led to a grave outcome.”

The police officer quickly found it was 9-year-old kid behind the wheel of his mommy’s car, attempting to drive himself to institution, the CHP claimed.

No injuries were reported, and the kid became sent out to institution.

The collision was “a stark reminder of the dangers inherent in our daily commutes and the responsibility we carry as drivers. The fact that this crash involved a child driver only heightens the need for awareness around vehicle security and the importance of imparting road safety knowledge to our younger generation,” the CHP claimed.
