Antioch police investigate carjacking at Kaiser Medical Center

(BCN) — Antioch police are investigating an alleged carjacking at a hospital within the metropolis earlier this week.

The Antioch Police Department mentioned that at 1:13 p.m. Tuesday, officers have been alerted to a reported carjacking within the space of the Kaiser Permanente Antioch Medical Center at 4501 Sand Creek Road. Upon arrival, they discovered a person had discovered and interrupted a number of suspects who have been stealing his car.

Police mentioned one of many suspects confronted the car proprietor, inflicting him to concern for his security. The alleged carjackers then left with the sufferer’s car towards Sand Creek Road.

Police mentioned they recovered the carjacked car in a close-by neighborhood, unoccupied. Detectives mentioned they’ve obtained leads of their investigation into the alleged crime.
