Christmas in the Park officially opens in Downtown San Jose – NBC Bay Area

An yearly practice got on complete screen in Downtown San Jose Friday where hundreds collected for the lights of a 65-foot Christmas tree at Christmas in the Park.

It’s a custom that’s been continued for greater than 44 years. For several, quiting at the park is the excellent means to enter the vacation spirit.

As visitors walk via the park, they’ll see a winter season paradise of display screens that consist of loads of trees embellished by San Jose institutions, area teams and organizations.

Christmas in the Park is cost-free and open via New Year’s Day till 10 p.m.

On Fridays, it remains open till 11 p.m.
