WILLIS, Va. (WFXR) — Jose De Leon and Katie Sciarine did not established out to be farmers or cheesemakers. It simply kind of taken place.
The pair possesses and runs Monte Verde Farm & Creamery in Willis. They raising goats, pigs, livestock, and hens, and they make goat cheese. They offer their cheese at a store on the farm and different markets around the location.
De Leon was a lawyer. Sciarine was an instructor. They resided in Chicago, yet they desired to avoid city life.

“Our cheese is creamy, not real goaty,” stated De Leon. “But, it can be sharp.”

“The Blooming Goat has a nice bloom on the outside,” Sciarine stated.
