Fatal crash on I-680 in Fremont closes lanes Thursday

(KRON) — Multiple lanes of southbound Interstate 680 in Fremont are shut Thursday early morning after a fatal crash, according to the California Highway Patrol. As of 7:40 a.m., one left lane has actually resumed.

The crash was reported following 7 a.m. on southbound I-680 north of Mission Boulevard, according to a CHP event log. The CHP web traffic records mentioned the crash included numerous automobiles, consisting of an eighteen-wheeler filled with suitably 10,000 extra pounds of beef.
