The Bay Area obtained soaked with rainfall Tuesday, specifically in San Francisco where a flash flood warning was in impact via 4 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Heavy rainfall and some spread electrical storms were reported around the area, with San Francisco obtaining greater than an inch of rainfall in both hours because concerning 1:30 p.m., meteorologist Alexis Clouser claimed.

That quantity of rains in a brief quantity of time typically results in what Clouser called “nuisance flooding” with roads swamped with water.

The city’s Department of Emergency Management advised individuals to nestle and to stay clear of strolling, driving or swimming via floodwaters.

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission asks any person that sees flooding or clogged up tornado drains pipes to get in touch with 311 to report it.
