Contra Costa Health’s hazmat team is investigating the potential for neighborhood influence after an unintended release of petroleum coke dust from the Martinez refinery Saturday afternoon.
In a publish on social media, the well being company stated it was notified of the flaring at 1:18 p.m. and that the release had “potential offsite impacts.”
