Northbound Highway 87 in San Jose reopened early Monday morning after a weekend closure for repaving work, Caltrans mentioned.
The freeway lanes reopened at 4 a.m. Monday, about an hour sooner than scheduled, the company mentioned.
Though work on the freeway lanes was accomplished, Caltrans informed NBC Bay Area motorists must be looking out for in a single day ramp closures on northbound Highway 87 all through the week as crews end repaving these areas.
The northbound closure began Friday and was the primary of two weekend closures to enhance the roadway’s high quality and security alongside Highway 87 between Highway 85 and Interstate 280.
