Jill Duggar Dillard was the one of the 19 Duggar youngsters to take part within the new docuseries, Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets.
Now she is releasing a ebook along with her husband Derick Dillard, “Counting the Cost”, which fits in-depth into their “painful journey” as a part of the reality-show-filming Duggar household.
Parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar shared a press release slamming the docu-series. All 4 episodes of the docu-series premiered on June 2.

“The challenges we have faced, including lack of respect for boundaries, greed, manipulation, and betrayal, are not that much different than what many people in our audience have faced,” Jill and Derick write. “However, 15+ years of actuality tv, undergirded by secrecy and lies, is tantamount to pouring gasoline on the hearth of our wrestle. Thanks to time, tears, reality, and remedy, God has begun to heal our wounds into scars. Though we might have by no means chosen this path, and it has price us dearly, we need to use our voice to indicate others that there’s hope past the ache.
“Counting the Cost” can be launched on January 16, 2024.
