President Joe Biden on Saturday advised his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky that he’s “confident” Congress will renew battle help, however added that with out US assist Kyiv may lose additional territory to Russian advances.

“I spoke with Zelensky this afternoon to let him know that I was confident we’re going to get that money,” Biden advised reporters after attending church in Delaware.

Failure by US lawmakers to approve new funding for army help to Kyiv could be “absurd” and “unethical,” he stated, including: “I’m going to fight to get them the ammunition they need.”
