Man on electric skateboard fatally struck in Gilroy

(BCN) — A pedestrian was struck and also eliminated Saturday evening in Gilroy, authorities claimed. Officers reacted around 9 p.m. to First Street in between Wren and also Kern methods after getting numerous 911 calls concerning a pedestrian being struck by a car.

Police discovered a 34-year-old man at the scene struggling with significant injuries. He was noticable dead at the scene.

Investigators think that the man was in the street on an electrically powered skateboard prior to he was struck. The chauffeur of the automobile that struck him continued to be on the scene and also is accepting police.
