Manhattan District Legal professional Alvin Bragg sought to reassure his workers in an inside message Saturday that intimidation or threats in opposition to them wouldn’t be tolerated. The communication comes as his workplace strikes ahead in its investigation into former President Donald Trump, who mentioned that he believes he will probably be arrested on Tuesday and put out a name for his supporters to protest.
“Please know that your security is our prime precedence,” Bragg mentioned in a memo to workplace workers obtained by NBC Information from a senior official on the Manhattan DA’s workplace.
The Democratic-led Home Methods and Means Committee launched six years of tax returns for former President Donald Trump, together with almost 6,000 pages of non-public and enterprise tax data.
He added, “We don’t tolerate makes an attempt to intimidate our workplace or threaten the rule of regulation in New York.”
The letter, which was first reported by Politico, didn’t point out Trump by title, and referred solely to “an ongoing investigation by this workplace.”
