Man’s body found floating on Oakland Estuary

(KRON) — Crews found a body that was floating on the Oakland Estuary Wednesday morning, the Oakland Fire Department confirmed. The body was positioned a bit of after 11 a.m. close to fifth and Embarcadero.

The body was a person estimated between 40 and 50 years outdated, OFD mentioned. There was no proof of foul play, and nobody within the space appeared to acknowledge the person.

An Alameda County coroner is predicted to reach on the scene and examine. As of 1:30 p.m., OFD crews have left the scene.

The id of the deceased man is being withheld till the following of kin is notified, the Oakland Police Department mentioned.

A number of weeks earlier, a body was found in an Oakland waterway close to the Coliseum. Police didn’t state whether or not or not foul play was concerned.
