(KRON) — A Mountain View man was arrested very early Wednesday early morning after he led police officers on a chase from San Mateo to San Francisco and ultimately across the Bay Bridge, the San Mateo Police Department stated. Jonathan Connelly, 33, was supposedly making use of a taken automobile as he ran traffic signals and quit indications.
An automated certificate plate visitor near East Poplar Avenue and North Amphlett Boulevard signaled SMPD to the taken automobile right before 3 a.m. Wednesday. The automobile was a black Mercedes Benz that had actually been reported taken out of Mountain View on Tuesday.

Officers attempted to quit the automobile, yet Connelly scampered, SMPD stated. He drove “recklessly” with San Mateo prior to combining onto northbound Highway 101.
California Highway Patrol signed up with the chase as officers chased after the automobile with San Francisco and onto the Bay Bridge. Eventually, Connelly collapsed in the location of the toll plaza, police stated.
He went out and attempted to flee, yet officers reached him and arrested him. He was required to a medical facility and later on San Mateo County Jail.
“Take the time to close and lock all windows and door when you park your car, never leave your keys in your car, park in well lit areas, and never leave valuables in your vehicle,” SMPD stated.
