Pedestrian dies after traffic collision in San Jose

(KRON) – The San Jose Police Department is investigating a serious damage automobile collision involving a pedestrian, the division stated. The crash occurred round 2:09 p.m. in the realm of Saratoga Avenue and Belvedere Drive.  

The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening accidents. The sufferer later died, marking the eighth deadly collision and eighth traffic dying of 2024 in San Jose.

As of three p.m., lanes of southbound Saratoga from Blackford to Belvedere Drive are closed. The San Jose Police Department advises drivers to cautiously drive or use alternate routes.
