(BCN) — Spontaneous combustion of a lithium battery began a residential fire in Oakland early Sunday afternoon, in line with the Oakland Fire Department. Firefighters responded to the blaze round 1 p.m. Sunday on the nook of E. twenty first and nineteenth avenues.

Firefighters reported heavy fire from the primary flooring of a two-story constructing however managed to include the fire to the storage. There have been no accidents reported and nobody was displaced, fire officers stated.
The fire division stated the blaze seemed to be ignited by a lithium battery that caught fire.
