(KRON) — The San Jose Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that took place at a homeless encampment recently. SJPD patrol policemans reacted at 5:46 p.m. on Thursday, May 9 to a record of a shooting at the encampment in the location of Mclaughlin Avenue and Highway 280.
Officers discovered a subconscious male that was struggling with a gunshot injury and was not breathing. First -responders provided lifesaving steps and moved the target to the health center.
