Police shoot at driver after stolen car hits officer in San Pablo – NBC Bay Area

A San Pablo police officer fired two photographs at a lady driver after her stolen car struck him Friday, police stated.

The crimson 2018 Chevrolet Malibu fled, and officers overpassed it in Richmond.

Police had noticed the stolen car about 1:02 p.m. in the world of San Pablo Dam Road and San Pablo Avenue.

Following a short pursuit, the Chevrolet collided with a parked car in the 2100 block of Alfreda Boulevard, police stated.

 As a police officer, believing the car was disabled, approached it on foot, the car abruptly accelerated again into the roadway, immediately towards the officer, police stated. The officer tried to retreat backward however was struck by the car's entrance finish.

The officer fired two photographs, placing the car’s windshield, however the car bought away.

The police officer was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening accidents.

The Chevrolet had California license plate 8ZUH227. Besides the driver, there was one passenger. It’s not identified if both had been injured.
