Popular SF pizza spot to close after 19 years

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The initial area of Little Star Pizza, a popular Bay Area pizza chain, is shutting after virtually twenty years in organization. In an Instagram message Sunday, the dining establishment chain revealed that its initial area in San Francisco’s Western Addition would certainly close at the end of the year.

The closure was revealed on the area’s 19th wedding anniversary.

“Today is 19 years for The Original Little Star Pizza on Divisadero!” Little Star claimed in the message. “With a heavy heart on this anniversary day, we announce that LS Divisadero will be closing at the end of this year.”

“It has been a marvelous run, and an honor to have been a part of the Western Addition/Nopa/Alamo Square neighborhood,” the message proceeded. “A tremendous thanks to all of the lovely people that has passed through our doors and supported us!”

No main factor was provided for the closure in the message.

Little Star keeps 2 various other areas — one in the (*19*) District and one more in Albany. It additionally has a link to The Star, a restaurant with areas in Oakland, Alameda and Portland.
