San Jose man arrested in connection to 6 armed business robberies

(KRON) — A San Jose man was arrested in March after he was connected to 6 armed robberies in San Jose, the San Jose Police Department claimed Thursday. The suspect was determined as 55-year-old Samih Stephan.

The initially burglary took place at a business on the 800 block of Blossom Hill Road on Aug. 26, 2023. Police found that a man got in the shop with a weapon and required cash from the worker. The worker did not offer over any kind of cash, and the suspicious left the shop.

Police identified that Stephan was the suspicious and linked him to 5 various other robberies, for an overall of 6:

  • Aug. 26, 2023, on the 800 block of Blossom Hill Road (tried burglary)
  • Dec. 7, 2023, on the 400 block of Blossom Hill Road
  • Dec. 16, 2023, on the 7100 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard
  • Dec. 26, 2023, on the 1200 block of North first Street (tried burglary)
  • Jan. 2, 2024, on the 700 block of North King Road
  • Feb. 26, 2024, on the 600 block of North fourth Street

In these robberies, Stephan took greater than $3,000 of money, SJPD claimed.

SJPD gotten apprehension and search warrants for Stephan and took him right into wardship on March 19 in San Jose. He was scheduled right into prison for armed burglary.
