(KRON) — A San Mateo father is slated to be sentenced Friday for felony baby abuse after he threw his baby right into a glass desk, in accordance to prosecutors.
Bin Pan, 42, pleaded no contest to baby abuse and inflicting nice bodily harm stemming from a disturbing incident on August 7, 2021. At the time, he was dwelling along with his spouse, their 2-year-old son, and their 17-day-old twins within the spouse’s dad and mom home. The couple’s relationship was “rocky,” prosecutors wrote.
The twin infants and toddler had been taken care of by their grandparents in the course of the day, and Pan helped care for his youngsters at night time. Pan was in a bed room caring for his infants one night time when he texted his spouse asking her to come into the room as a result of the infants had been crying, in accordance to prosecutors.
Pan stated “he had had enough and wanted to kill the babies,” prosecutors wrote. The grandparents entered the room and an argument erupted. Pan had one of many infants in his arms and he threw the baby onto a glass desk throughout the room, in accordance to the District Attorney’s Office.
