SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KRON) — A 3-year-old boy was shot to death by his mom’s boyfriend inside their Santa Clara residence on Tuesday, in accordance to the Santa Clara Police Department.
The mom known as police at 2:25 a.m. and stated her live-in boyfriend shot her younger son. Officers rushed to the boy’s residence on Poinciana Drive and arrived inside minutes of the 911 name.
“The victim was located inside the residence and had suffered a gunshot wound. CPR was performed but unfortunately the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene,” Santa Clara Police Department Lt. Mike Crescini wrote.
The mom’s 24-year-old boyfriend, Sergio Colin Gomez, was discovered close to the house and arrested, in accordance to SCPD. The younger sufferer, his mom, and Gomez lived in an residence advanced on Poinciana Drive close to Lawrence Expressway.
