(KRON) — A juvenile that police stated was a recognized gang participant with an outstanding warrant was chased after on foot and arrested on Thursday, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department. Officers situated a filled, hidden pistol on the juvenile throughout the apprehension, authorities stated.
Just prior to 5 p.m., Santa Rosa policeman were on patrol at the 1200 block of Cleveland Avenue near College Avenue and Highway 101. Officers came across a juvenile that was understood to authorities to have an outstanding apprehension warrant, SRPD stated. The juvenile ran away from policemans as they attempted to make call, triggering a short foot chase.
