Sophie Turner has revealed a heartfelt letter her ex Joe Jonas wrote that she mentioned proves he wanted to make the UK his “forever home”, regardless of the pair beforehand battling over relocating their daughters to England.

In a letter submitted in courtroom and obtained by Page Six, Jonas had written to the house owner of a Wallingford, Oxford property that he, Turner, and their daughters had their coronary heart set on as their “forever home”.

“When my wife and I decided we were going to spend more time in the UK and search for a permanent home, our daughter expressed three unwavering requirements: having chickens, a pony and a Wendy house,” Jonas, 34, penned to the vendor.

“While many of the houses we viewed met this criteria, the moment we turned the corner and caught sight of the charming blue shutters adorning [redacted], we experienced a sense of magic unlike anything we had felt before.”

He wrote about his superb life-style in England, including, “I have been completely charmed by the idea of dropping my children to school on the boat and being able to spend a leisurely afternoon cruising to the pub with friends on my very own boat.”

To conclude the letter, the Sucker singer wrote, “We could tell that your family have truly loved living here and we can envision our children growing up here and making this our forever home. 

“I actually assume Sophie and I will likely be in a position to take care of [redacted names] and for a few years pay homage to the magic you’ve gotten created right here,” he wrote of the £UK 7.5 million (approx. $14.2 million) home.

The homeowner was charmed by the moving letter and agreed to sell the home to the celebrity couple, who put a 10 per cent deposit of £750,000 (approx. $1.4 million) on the property, just two months before announcing their split.

Soon after their split, Turner sued Jonas for allegedly refusing to hand over their daughter’s passports and not letting them return to their “everlasting residence” in the UK.

The petition cites the “wrongful retention” of their children “in New York City from their recurring residence of England,” and that they had made England their “everlasting” home in April of 2023.

Turner had planned to return to England this month with the children, the petition states, but when she attempted to collect their passports from Jonas, she claims he refused.

Jonas addressed the petition with his own statement, stating that he and Turner had agreed to a court order that restricts both parents from relocating the children until the divorce case has been settled.

“Sophie was conscious that Joe was going to file for divorce. The Florida Court has already entered an order that restricts each mother and father from relocating the kids. Sophie was served with this order on September 6, 2023, greater than two weeks in the past,” the assertion learn.

The pair have since agreed to quickly hold the kids in New York whereas they iron out the particulars of their divorce.
