SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The Golden State Warriors agreed to a contract extension with head coach Steve Kerr, ESPN reported Friday evening.
The contract is for 2 years and $35 million, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski mentioned. Kerr is now the highest-paid coach in NBA historical past.

Kerr has been the Warriors’ head coach for the reason that 2014-15 season. He has coached the crew to 4 NBA championships and was the NBA Coach of the Year in 2015-16.
The transfer retains Kerr within the fold after normal supervisor Bob Myers left the crew after final season. Mike Dunleavy Jr. took over because the Warriors’ new normal supervisor.
