(KRON) – A guy was jailed after allegedly stealing over $200 worth of product and trying to run away, the Colma Police Department stated.
At 2:44 p.m. on Feb. 7, Colma law enforcement officer saw a male going out of a service’ near a fire escape holding a bag loaded with product. Police stated the police officers were performing a passing check of a shopping mall in the 200 block of Colma Boulevard when they observed the occurrence.

Police stated they reached the suspect and he overlooked them, getting away through a neighboring cemetery. Officers restrained the suspect after a foot search.
Police stated the suspect admitted to taking the products without paying.
The suspect took about $235.09 worth of product, according to the cops examination.
The suspect was recognized as a 48-year-old Sacramento local. The suspect was put under apprehension for withstanding apprehension and belongings of taken home. According to cops, he was released a citation and launched on his assurance to show up in court.
