(KRON) — The San Mateo Police Department arrested three folks accused of breaking into two homes within the space on Tuesday. The suspects allegedly stole property from the homes that totaled greater than $50,000 in worth.
SMPD responded to Mission Drive at 7:22 p.m. after an individual who lives on the road known as to say he was watching a stay feed from his safety digital camera displaying two folks “ransacking his home,” police stated.

Officers surrounded the neighborhood and located that the suspects had left the house. They carried out a search and discovered that there was a 3rd suspect, and the trio had additionally burglarized one other residence.
Officers noticed the suspects leaping over a fence to enter a yard on the 700 block of West Capistrano Way. SMPD used a drone to find and encompass the suspects.
One suspect was arrested hiding in a conveyable rest room. Another was positioned working out of the yard. The third was discovered hiding on a roof.
The suspects had been recognized by SMPD as Jhon LarottaVargas, 41 of Orlando, FL, Santiago HernandezGarcia, 34 of Los Angeles, and Jesus VelezHernandez, 32 of Simi Valley. They had been all arrested for residential housebreaking, grand theft, conspiracy to commit a criminal offense, possession of stolen property, and resisting arrest. The stolen property was recovered by police.
