Victim identified in fatal San Jose stabbing

(KRON) — The man stabbed to loss of life in San Jose early Sunday morning has been identified by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office.

Landreu Michael Belong, 35, of San Jose died at an area hospital after struggling at the very least one stab wound round 4 a.m. Police say Belong knew the suspect in the stabbing, and she or he was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for murder.

Police later identified a girl as a suspect in the stabbing, Christy Herrera. Herrera is being held with out the choice of bail in Elmwood Complex Women’s Facility. SJPD reviews that that is the fifteenth murder in the town for the reason that begin of 2023.
